RUNNING FOE A LIFE

Vajira is running 500km to raise AUD$100,000 towards the first ever Palliative Care Hospital in Sri Lanka. Since November 2016 he has already completed 434km of the 500km challenge by running several marathons and ultra marathons.
Larissa Tichon has also joined Vajira to support the cause. Larissa is a high-achieving elite athlete with Australian and World records in endurance running.

Palliative care for Chronic Kidney Disease of unknown origin (CKDu) in Sri Lanka

Shanthi Foundation, a charity registered in Australia, has been helping Sri Lanka to develop palliative care and combat CKDu over the last two years.
